Short term some birthday gifts, for my son (39) a barbecue apron with some large lobster (appliqued I think) and a lobster recipe, for his daughters (2 in August, the other 5 in September) I've no idea at the moment. Long term - no idea yet.

Might add names to backpacks and sweatshirt if it's not "uncool". And of course a lot of UFOs.

glad to see a post on the subject of embroidery and not just another freebie listed..hehehe.. anyway, I am working on back pack bags and those nifty little jackets that are transformed from a sweatshirt...someone here posted the link a while back and I thought they looked fun...I will put the school mascot on the front along with their initials..and for the fall season I am doing some napkins and a table cloth for my daughter who host our thanksgiving buffet every year..She got a new table and I thought this would be a nice gift!

Kathy, I am glad to see - that someone else enjoys a question on embroidery, too. I can't wait to see all your back pack bags and your nifty little jackets in the projects. That napkin and table cloth sound like a great gift and I really want to see that one finished, too. *4U

I have about 6 sweatshirts for my grandkids....the hoodie kind. And a whie back I bought a cute set of dragons... since they both take karate, and like the asian theme, I thought I would do one for him and one for her. These are not ugly or fierce, sort of whimsical. I will do at least one each of the SS in Halloween theme, and don't know for other 2. C

Pumpkins and turkeys. San Francisco Stitch co. is one of my new favorite sites. They have a cute little pumpkins in the hoop that hold candy and I want to make those. Ive bought their little xmas trees and the chrismoose. So I will play around with those. There are some cute freebies there also. Get your bag of coal and free turkey. Turkey holds a piece of candy, done in the hoop.

I am the same way. Lots of ideas but not enough time. If it wasnt for the last minute nothing would get done. LOL!

Crafter, planning is part of the game - the next is execution - Hehehe!

Bev, you have time - you just have to allot it to your craft and not other things - try 15-30 minutes.

Aw Shirlene, I was hoping that you'd tell me that I could go on a vacation....but then that wouldn't be as much fun as embroidering.
by shirlener88 02 Aug 2009
You could go on vacation - if that is what you want to do or have planned - but you are right - not as much fun as embroidering. Hehehe!
