Can a png clipart be coverted to digitalizing or just the bmp and jpg? TIA ;D

It depends on whether your digitizing program will accept it. My program accepts 10 different extensions, but not this one.

png is just another extension for graphics. Mostly used is jpg and bmp. If you convert this extension to a digitized format it cannot be used. When using a picture format in software to digitize from, then the format will be changed to the format chosen. For instance calling a .png,jpg or bmp into your digitiging program them digitizing it then saving as a digitizing format, such as .pes,hus,etc.

Husqvarna Viking 4D software can load bmp, jpg, jif, jpeg, png, tiff, wmf, emf and ico. You can also scan anything, save to what your software recognizes, and load it that way.

I've got Digitizer pro3 and I'm sure I can use png.
If not you could try converting it to another format in windows paint programme. (I think)
