What would be some good flower designs to use for Fall/Winter Projects? TIA ;D

Monica, the sunflower as Crafter2243 suggested - the ones that Veronika has in the applique section are really useful for Fall. When you think of Fall/Winter - what flowers come to mind for you? When I think of Winter - is usually the Poinsettia, Holly or Christmas Cactus that I think of. Good luck. *4U

winter poinsettia or fireweed or lupin( i think I spelled it right) are my choices. *4u

Sunflowers for fall and Pine & holly for Winter. I think wheat (stalks?) is also pretty for fall. Oh, and how about some corn stalks for fall? Different, ugh?

Everyone has the same idea(s) - but I am anxious to do an applique quilt for autumn using falling leaves. And maybe for the contrast some pumpkins or piles of squash.
