... birthday gift and will post on CUTE this week when finished. Courtney is my DH's daughter (the darling drama princess). Then I'll be working on some "bibs" for GM. My other GM passed away yesterday so I'll be seeing the family this coming weekend. I'm hoping to get QE's gift finished before the "reunion" so my Mother can take them home to her.

Martine, I'm going to use your cute giraffe on one of them! :-) I will send you a picture when done.

xoxo BE HAPPY! Happiness is a choice, and no one can take that away from you. xoxoxo

Actually, my new project has nothing to do with Machine embroidery. I am making a slip cover for my son's favorite chair. Maybe I'll embroider some cool stuff on the slip cover. hmmmm

That's a good project too. Embroider on the outer arm rest maybe where it won't get rubbed too much?
by waterlily 03 Aug 2009
That's a great idea! I was trying to think of WHERE I would put an embroidered design. That's a perfect spot!

I'm working on a notice for my washing machine when I do delicate things to line dry. It's in case I forget or someone in the family is "helping" me to do laundry. It says "hang dry this load" with the lower case Snowman letters from Misty Mountain. Under that is the Laundry Bunny from Embroider This. This picture is still incomplete. It will have border trim and a ribbon hanger.

Such a good idea! I accidentally threw a new top in the dryer this morning! I'm thinking the one time I wore it may be the only time I wore it!!! :( Oh well, life goes on....

Teri, good thoughts only - I am working on some birthday gifts as well - one for my niece - she wants a photo mat - like the one I made her of my Daddy, for the birthday after he passed, but of my Mother - before she passes - to have them side by side with the pictures of the olden days - and for my son - who will turn 40 and I can't wrap my brain around that - but I am making some dish towels for his new apartment. Yes, be happy! *4U

Teri, I'm honoured!<br />I am doing a load of towles for the museum (I've been on the board for donkey's years and as soon as I had software I digitized the logo). Finished 18 guest towels and 9 towels so far. And tomorrow I'm starting on 6 stoles and 6 antependia for the local church that was redecorated last year. I digitized two decorations, now for the rest.
And before Saturday I have to do 2 birthday gifts..

I am doing the hidden pocket hanger covers featured in the last (I THINK last!) issue of Sew News. Really easy to make & neat too! The inside cover is completely hidden & zipped shut to hold things you don't want laying out. Took me longer to make the pattern & cut it out than it does to make the cover!
My daughter works in a nursing home (Speech Path.) & the bibs are wonderful! Mary Murlari has a book with travel acces. that has a "commuter bib" in it!
So sorry about your GM. Remembering you in prayer, but I haven't stopped remembering you anyway!! So a double dose!
Hugs, Gerry B

Thanks Jacqueline...I'm so tired of the back biting that goes on, and we desperately need to quit feeding the hate. BTW, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your name... I always wanted to change my name to Jacqueline... so elegant!!!!!

Ooo.....love this machine. Reminds me of one that my Mom bought at a $5 Washington's Birthday sale in DC.
