I come up with the placemat design and got the napkin chili pepper design from emblibrary, but don't remember where I got the one on the placemat. One of my co-workers was getting married and they said red and yellow for their kitchen and they were doing chili peppers. I know his mother so asked if she thouth it would be something they would use. I originally made 6 placemats in two evenings, then went to the store and got a 100% cotton yellow that would coordinate with the yellow in the placemat. I made 6 napkins to go with the placemats and one bread cloth. They loved them and got lots of ooooo's and ahhh's. I need to make some for myself, not Chili Peppers... the picture does not to the placemat justice.

Peg, what a great gift and there is one thing that I have learned - no picture does the work justice - but this is lovely work and I am sure this couple will use them alot and treasure the fact that you created them for them and no one else has the same set. And you must make some for yourself and share those with us, too. *4U Shirlene

Yea, Chile Peppers...not me, My Kitchen is Red and Yellow (Very country) and saying that Roosters are my theme, however my husband says if I bring one more Chichen into the house he is out! just kidding....hee hee.
