This is an embroidery of the Greenman by Urban threads. My elder daughter asked me to embroider this for her brother in law. (This is third time I have sewn this pattern. It is about theThe BIL has had the green man tatooed on his arm. The photo shows my work against his arm. The embroidery took about 2 hours to complete. After I had completed the embroidery I mounted it onto a canvas frame so that it could be hung up. If the picture uploads this will be the first piece of my work that I have put here.

Caroline, YOU DID IT!!!! This is great - I have thought about stitching this out - for another - a couple times - but have never managed to get it done - so it is good to see that it stitche so nicely. Isn't it unique to have someone - to give this to that will really appreciate it - I can see this on a tank top for this BIL of your daughter, so he can wear it and show his tatoo, too. *4U

Thanks, yes this took ages but it is beautiful to watch it appear. The eyes are quite haunting and I feel they are stareing at me. My husband loves the design too and I made him a cushion then made the design as large as possible. he is still thinking what he wants me to sew this one into.
