"bill finally got his results from the brain and bone scan that they took almost two weeks ago. it has NOT spread into his brain nor his bones!!!!!!!! this is wonderful news because he now has a fighting chance of getting better. he is not out of the woods yet and still has the hurdle of going thru chemo and radiation. the doctor said because it is small cell cancer that the cancer can pop up anywhere at any time once they have taken care of the cancer in his lungs. they told us at the cancer center that if it had not spread that he should have a couple of years longer. well you know that those predictions are never accurate and people have been known to live much longer than the doctors thought they would.

i cannot thank everyone enough for all their prayers. i am happy to report that God was listening to all of you. Please keep Bill in your ongoing prayers as he still has lot to go thru and still has a very hard hill to climb. But we now know that he has a chance to climb that hill. lots of love to all of you for all your prayers,
