I have to put the photos in an answer, so have patience for a moment, hee hee hee. I see a couple newbies posting in the Public category, wanted to help them find the right place. If you're not finding that freebie tab, you're missing all the reminders and posts, eeekkkk. So here's your photo tutorial.

Ok, the first picture is of the posts under the Public tab. The tabs are at the top of the postings. The one you're in will be white, the others kind of greyed. The system automatically takes you to Public when you hit the Community link at the top of the page. What you want to do is put your pointer on the second tab, the one indicated by the arrow. The pointer will turn to a hand, and you click that tab. You will then see the posts under freebies. That's the second picture. See how the Freebie tab is now white, and the rest are greyed? When you're in that section, you'll see all the freebie posts, just go to the green arrow, "start a new topic", just as you always do, and make your post. If you are still having trouble, please don't hesitate to ask, I'll try to explain it a different way. I hope these screen shots are large enough to see, they're kind of blurry. Hugs, Marji

I just love the new freebies tab! Now I can stop in and quickly check the chat whithout having to go through all the freebies. Then when I have more time, I can check out what's new in the freebies.

Thank Marji. I copy and paste tips and your tutorials into a word document for later reference. If I pull on the handle of your pictures, they enlarge and are more readable. :)

I am a member of cute and have been for some time. I hesitate to post because someone is often correcting or annoyed at others postings. I love the freebies postings as well as all the other postings (except the snarky ones). Is there a way to see ALL postings at once without having to go to each section?

I am afraid the answer is no. The four sections are seperate. And only in 'public' you have the choice to read 'all' - which is the default setting - or use the tags to read specific subjects.

Thanks, now I know why mine kept going to the wrong place although I did click the freebie at the bottom left. I opened Ask the Community and not the one under freebie. Shame u're having a hard time with us, but I'm sure this is going to do the trick. Hugs for u

I'm bringing this back up to the top, for newbies to the site. We seem to have a lot of freebie posts in the Public category lately. Please take time to read and use this information, ok? Veronika went to a lot of trouble and expense to make that Freebie tab, we need to be using it. I know we all make mistakes once in a while, that's understandable, no problem. Bringing this back to the top again. Some folks just aren't getting it, that freebies belong under the freebie tab, not in the public forum. If you are having trouble with it, and this photo explanation isn't working for you, please contact me and I'll try to walk you thru it, explain it another way, whatever helps. Veronika, the website owner, has taken the trouble to set up the different tabs, it would be nice if they were used properly, and a help to everyone who uses the forums. Thanks for explaining, sometimes it´s a bit hard to find the correct way on a new platform to work with. And for me even harder, because I´m already not really firm on working with internet. A long time I refused to use it at all - shame on me, but now I´m glad I started to use it - for this reason I found already a lot of great stuff and inspiration for my crafting.

Is there a tutorial for 'How to post Personal information" in "Personal"? Or "How to post "Advertising in "Bookmarks" and not in "Projects".
I don't care how many tutorials are posted for newbies or oldies. The issue will continue to make things unpleasant unless a more organized Forum is set into place. Even then, People will still "Post in the wrong Section".
Why can't people just enjoy what is available.
