I don't remember the post but I went to ALLRECIPES.com and found some there. One is for apple cake and it is GOOD.

Oh, I remember that post, but don't think I tagged it. I know the Mason jars were the little half-pint ones, the ones with the sloping sides, not the ones with a neck on them. I'm sure someone will come along who remembers where that was, it was a nice site, with home repair and everything. Thought I bookmarked the site, but if I did, I don't know what I called it, hee hee hee, duh. Good luck, hugs, Marji

Lisa, I do believe that Lillian has given you a great link - I also saw something on the PNW website for gifts in a mug - that had some really nice reccipes, too. A differenct slant on the same sort of idea.

allrecipes.com has the cake in a jar and several more that you might be interested in. At the time that it was posted, I think it had a video for a train cake but I might be mistaken about that. I could have seen the train another time and place. I still have the recipe of the cake in a jar sitting on the printer. That is the only way I remembered it!
