The usb must be formatted before you can do anything. In mine which is a Janome 350e all i do is put it in the machine and it formats for me. It formats a design section and I must d/l to that file. I also have a program from sands computing which allows me to see a small pic of the design. I would check with the purchaser re formatting. Hope this helps. Welcome to cute Lisa

Welcome "Stargater" - sorry I can't help you. What "Quiltgrama" said is great - so have a chat to your dealer.
There is surely someone on here who has a similar machine and will come along and help you out.
In the meantime - have a look at all the tabs and projects etc.
Love and blessings Chris (Newcastle, Australia)
P.S. hence the little Koala in the welcome design

stargater, I can't give any help, other than to say that I think Lisa (quiltgrama) is on the right track, and the best thing to do is to contact your dealer where you bought the machine, and ask them how to format the usb stick for machine embroidery designs. Love and hugs sweetie, and a big welcome to Cute - enjoy.

I have a friend who had the same problem. She had to create a certain folder on your USB stick, but I cannot remember what it is called. You then save your designs in that folder. Phone your dealer and ask them to help you. Welcome to the Cute family.
