Had a great day. Worn out. Stayed longer than we planned. Took our own lunch so we could spend money on more important things. Meg was overwhellemed as soon as we walked in the front door. All she wanted to do was buy EVERTHING. Had a show and tell with my D who sadly couldnt come, when she dropped me home. Now to use all these gadgets & thread. Sorry you all couldnt come. But we were thinking of you :)

Thanks Pauline for the wonderful day, you know I had a great time because I can barely walk now, my feet are so sore. LOL!!!

What did I buy? as Pauline said, not enough.

I spent some of my birthday money buying tweezers; curved scissors; glitzy butterflies; overlocker needle threaders; invisible thread for $2 a spool; 6 Madeira threads for $60 (great buy for 3 x 5,000 m spools and 3 x 2,500 m spools); stainless steel curved forceps, (great for grabbing bobbin threads, holding needles & all sorts of jobs where you want to lock n hold); NO, definitely didn't buy enough! LOL!!!

What I DIDN'T buy was a phenomenal embroidery artwork/digitising program for $1,300

But Ray and I are going back on Sunday to check it out. :-) (it is tax rebate time, after all, so a girl can hope, can't she?)

But I had a wonderful day and I even drove my car.

OH! And I got the most gorgeous Betty Boop embroidered towel and Scrumptious windmill cookies, from my dear friend Pauline, for my birthday. Thank you Polly, you're one in a million!
Hugs n roses, Meg
