I just love the vintage tea towels..I have a set in my Kitchen for desplay only, that my mother did when she was first married to my dad....so around 1941-1943. I love them they are days of the week kittens doing a womans daily chorses. So when I found these I just fell in love with the sweet little bluebirds. I have not done the entire set yet, but plan too, for myself. Selfish isn't it....Oh well... Unfortunatly once again I don't remember where I found the designs, I will give it some thought and hopefully add it later. Peggy

I love the vintage patterns too, and when I do mine, they will be mine. (pattern maybe from sewweird?)

Thank you! I don't know what the vintage animals had to do with housework, but that seemed to be the whole tea towel theme back then. I love them.

I have started my Christmas push with 4 kids, their spouses, and 13 grandkids.. I should have started in April...or earlier, so who know when the rest of the set will get done. hee hee

Peggy, they look great, and it is nice to do something for ourselves now and then.

It is, but keep in mind I may not get mine done now until after Christmas as I am starting my Christmas marathon sewing...well, if daughter #3 will stop giving me additional projects to do ASAP!

Peggy, very nice set - don't you push your back - get them done - then they all will know how special you are, too. Hehehe! Keep up the good work - bit by bit - it all comes together. *4U

So much like the ones my grandmother taught me to cross stitch on when I was a little girl. Og course that was in 1946 or 47. *4U
