I don't have that machine so I don't know for sure. It sounds like you can't because the 6.5 is larger than the 5. You might be able to resize it but you can usually only reduce by about 20%. I hope someone can give you a more definitive answer.

thanks I was afraid of that, should have bought a machine with a larger sewing field.

Always seems that way. Sorry you can't make the design you desire work. Star for you!

No, sorry to say. I have the Babylock Ellegante & like mentioned before, you can only downsize about 20%. The computer inside the machine can read the size of the design & will not allow it to even come up on the comp. screen.

Depending on the design, you (if you have the software) or someone else might be able to split it. What design are you looking at?

I think you may need a bigger hoop or downsize your design usually 10-20% - a bigger hoop though will cost yo a lot of pennys - hope this helps

Not without splitting the design or making it smaller. *4U

Does the designer offer it in a smaller size? I've noticed that Embroidery Library will often offer the larger design in a 5x7 version as well. I hope you can come up with something, or find a similar design that you like. Isn't that always the way? No matter how big a sewing field you have, you need a bigger one, hee hee hee. Good luck!! You may be able to reduce the design in some software like Embird and also reduce the density.
