I have tried to use variegated thread, this time the result was good, but with those threads it is always inexpected.Do you make a test before using them? But depending of the shape of the design, they make stipes or no I expect your experience

When I use variegated thread I match the thread colours with the project I am doing, no 2 will look alike, it depends how the thread is wound on the roll and how your design is stitched out.

I love using variegated thread. It looks like you have worked much harder.;) I don't usually test it because it does, as you say, make stripes or sometimes areas of colors. This is a very cute dress.;)

Claude, this is a very lovely dress that you made for Mona and the variegated thread turned out wonderful on it - whenever you stitch with variegated - no two are every alike - lol. *4U
