Embroidery Fonts Plus is the only free letting software to my knowledge. It does not use other fonts, but comes with 3 free fonts. Additional fonts are available for a cost. I'll be curious to see if anyone knows of something else.

My lettering program is part of my 3-d embroidery software.

As nonmusicmom said my fonts are part of my 4-D software. However, I did purchase a CD from Staples, it has 1000+ fonts, some of which my software did not. The CD was only $9.99.

Not free; however,I have used SewArt to digitize names using my computer fonts. SewArt comes from S&S Computing and does digitizing though I've not been truly pleased with anything other than the lettering (probably 99% operator error). if you just want the fonts so not embroiderydesigns you can go to this added link.I can use in my PE-design (brother) the fonts of my PC.

Hi as has already been posted. For PE design you can use any of the fonts in your computer and you can download further free fonts (or buy if you wish)to add to what you already have. Do you have any softwear for your embroidery machine?
Unfortunatly PE design is not free
