I don't know anything about the Smart Box, sorry. Does it take regular camera flash cards? My Janome 300E has a card reader built into the machine, and it takes regular camera flash cards that you can purchase anywhere. I'm bringing you back to the top so maybe you can get more help. Sara, I don't know anything about PED either, so sorry. I'm a Janome Digitizer Pro girl. The camera cards should be available almost anywhere like WalMart, KMart, wherever they sell digitial cameras. My dealer has them, because the Janome 300E takes them, so she carries all the equipment needed to go with the machine. Just to be sure, take your card with you, and ask a salesman to make sure it's the same thing, has the same number of pin holes. There used to be another kind of flash card with a different number of holes, so if yours is the older style the newer ones won't work. Circuit City and Best Buy would be good places to look, as well, they do a lot of electronics. Possibly even OfficeMax or Staples. You might get on the phone before you get in the car, hee hee hee. It sounds like what you need is an editing program.. It will let you combine designs and save them as a single embroidery file..
