oh my so sorry to hear of this i watch what sites i go to either not people friendly or never know where a virus may be so far this site looks people friendly i have not learned it all like the flowers scared to post looks like there are areas for different postings so i dont want anyone mad if i post wrong

yes I have stopped going to a lot of different sites, it just ain't worth it........

your fuse must be the same length as mine - I quit one site after one day and got the nastiest letter back from the owner - they would not let me sign up for only special notices and I had hundreds of Happy Birthday notes jamming my mailbox. Like you said "It just ain't worth it!"

I love cross stitch patterns and am up to number 12 at the moment of the beautiful EMS designs for the advent calendar.

The CUTE site is the best and it's so easy to get around, so I'm staying put!

And have you noticed that some groups feel like they are a bit "clicky" and don't make you feel welcome? They don't reply to your questions and basically make you feel like an outsider.

I am in one group and have gone to daily digest, but some days I still receive up to 10 daily digests because there are so many "off topic" messages and thank you's, yet I have always been ignored there.

Time to resign and stay with ones where I feel more "at home"

They had a bad crash and freebie-section is down.

I am passive member of some other forums, just to spy and post the best information here -hehehe.

I'm with you. I have never figured out how to get the freebies, and I just get frustrated and quit.
