In the first T-shirt of elephant sunrise, I had used the colours suggested for the design.But I had found that it was sunset rathr than sunrise!and that the colour of the mountain was to similar to the colour of the grass just before.The sky is obtained with 3 colours embroidered one after the other. Suggested was pale yellow, yellow and apricot.This time I had used pale yellow, pale pink and pale blue. The result is too pale and next time i will take pale yellow, pink and blue more sustained.For the mountain, I had used green more dark, but it does not look like african mountains, so I think to use more ocre(i need 2 tones). But what think of that our cuties of Africa?
I am passionated with the search of colours and when I begin an embroidery, it is always very interesting for me to find the good colour between all the thread that I have. I use thread Sulky-Guterman, Metro, Designbysick and Threaddelight, and I have no conversion with the N° Madeira which are given.
