Good morning Marthie, I am so sorry I cannot be up in the Transvaal to see your garden. Down here in Cape Town it has been pouring with rain for the last 2 days (nonstop), and it is coooold, but our garden is also showing the fact that spring is here. Don't want to be a wet blanket - but heard rumors of a cold front approaching. Just remember that on 9 September 1981 it was snowing in Johannesburg. So who knows what can happen. Although must say on the west rand we had a 26.5 o c this afternoon. Quite hot for a spring day. Love the summer weather.

It is such a small world now, here in Texas we are again getting the blooms but this time it is the fall flowers! Blessings and enjoy the awakening of the seeds!

Here in Ontario, fall is upon us. Although today is sunny and warm, the evenings are quite cool. The squirrels have very bushy tails and have been gathering nuts for weeks now.That is a sure sign of a long and cold winter. I hope they are wrong and we have a mild winter. The leaves will soon be turning colour, makes for beautiful scenery and the backbraking job of raking. Oh well, love the changing seasons.
