This year I was going to have mine done by now since I work in retail and work a lot of hours before Christmas. Guess how many things I have made so far?

Can I ask u ur secret? Where do u get these lovely pictures and how do u put ur name underneath?
by shirlener88 11 Sep 2009
Marthie, no secret - I downloaded the pictures - I think from: http://www.valscreations.com/blinkieindex.html - they allow you to customize them - if this isn't the site - I didn't save it. Enjoy!

Gradually, just gradually. More planning and gathering than actual execution.

Maureen, like Shirlene, I work on Christmas projects through out the year. I have still alot to do though. I try to get all mine done by the end of October. So that I can concentrate on the orders that I get in for Christmas.
My guess is that you have not yet started!!

I have been busy making FSL Christmas ornaments. I sell them at work but not permitted to do it on company property. So, My DH is building a website so I can direct my coworkers to the site to see what I have. I only have 3 designs on the site now but you can take a look if you like. I am not selling to the public, not yet anyway. I do not have the time to sew out all I MIGHT sell!

They are very cute, I love snowmen. Where did you get the snowmen? Did you digitize them yourself? H&*
by babyred 09 Sep 2009
Thank You! The snowmen are from Ace Points designs. They really are adorable.

Very Cute! Thank you for sharing!

Good luck Linda - what are your prices?
by babyred 10 Sep 2009
Have not yet decided. Any suggestions for the snowmen? There are a set of 10. I was thinking $4.50 per ornament or $40.00 for the set. Too high? Too low?
by kttyhwk4 11 Sep 2009
When I sold a bunch of my fsl ornaments I charged $5.00 apiece or a set of eith for $30.00..as a result sold more sets to those that could afford and singles to those that liked but couldn't really afford to buy.
by shirlener88 11 Sep 2009
Linda, I do think you know what you should/could charge - I like the idea of charging a set price - both these prices are very good.
by babyred 12 Sep 2009
Thanks Shirlene & kttyhwk4! I sold some last year for this price but I thought maybe I was a little high. I guess I am just about right.

I have started on FSL Ornaments. I am currently spending a week with a friend and we are embroidering. Her husband is gone and the 2 of us are creating a huge mess. I will show results in project when I get home. Not of the mess Ha, ha, but ornaments.

I got a good start, then got sidetracked with things brought by family to be done, such as a set of curtains for a Classroom with 2 windows etc lol. It's nice to be needed. All this work is gratis but I love my fmly & they r good to me. Oh well back to christmas sooner or later. *4U
