and found that he has Prloric Stenosis. This is a rapid narrowing of the begining of the small intestine. We should find out when the surgery will take place and at what hospital. He has lost so much weight that even the newborn diapers just hang on him. Most of the time he is lifeless in someones arms or he is crying or throwing up. He is always cold and we have to keep him wraped up in heavy blankets. Really hot here in AR.still and we had to go find heavy baby blankets for him. I will post the surgery time as soon as I get it.Thanks

i will be praying for him. my son also had this he was 3 months old now he is a healthy grown man my prayers are with you and family. i did not know if it was ok for me to post in personal yet i am still learning the site but when it comes to a baby i may be new here but i pray for all

We will pray for Zachary and all of your family! May the Lord ease this time until it can be permanently corrected. I pray for the surgeons and against any potential complications that would thwart a swift, complete recovery! Mercy to you and your family as tending Zachary would have to be so difficult. Thanks. It has been very hard to try to help him keep even a little bit down. I just want them to do it soon so he can start growing into a happy healthy baby.

What a scary thing to have happen. You have my prayers for the family and for little Zachary and his doctors. I pray that the surgery will be soon and quickly over so that he will be able to gain strength and be happy and healthy.

Very special prayers. Scary when children are suffering, isn't it. Sure hope the surgery goes well. Babies respond so quickly - let's pray Zachary does, too. He'll probably grow up to be a large baby - now that they have found the cause of his vomiting.

This is so sad and I hope that things will go well for you all. Do not know if you are already doing this, but by covering his head will also help to keep his body heat. We are knitting small caps for prem babies and it help with their heat. Please keep us up to date. God bless you all. Elize

Yes it is done alot. this is a problem that starts after birth for some reason.
If we have to wait very long they will hospitaliez him because he is so weak. Thanks for the prayers.

i am so sorry to hear that he is having a hard beginning to his little life god must have a special life planned out for him as i belive god only will give us what we can handel so this little guy will go far in his life if he already has a test like this as i prayer for my daughter i will say a prayer for zachary and your family to help heal and give strength to them also us to be strong and hold on in there god bless you and your family my the sun shine down on all of you through this love mary

Paula, I sincerely hope all will be well with your little Zachary. It's so very hard when the little ones are ill, and they don't understand, and can't tell you what's happening. But at least you have good doctors, and thank God we live in a time when something can be done and Zachary can go on to live a good life! Hang in there, you have my best thoughts, prayers, and hugs. Thank you. Yes we have good doctors thank the Lord. 20 years ago we would have lost 2 of our little angels. first Adelaide and then Zachary.So glad thing have changed for the better.

Nmm so very sorry, Pyloric stenosis in itself does happen sometimes but it doesn't usually take so long for them to suspect this. My first job after nursing school was in pediatric clinic. God makes these little fellows tough but he'll stay in my prayers till it's all over & he is on the rebound & gaining wt after his surgery.
