you post your design in Designs by Cuties, and give us a heads up that it's there in the public forum, put a link to the design in your post! That way, if I know Martine (mops) did the little dolly design, and for some reason it disappeared from my computer, I could "search" the public forum for "mops" posts, and find the link to her design that I'm looking for, without going thru a hundred pages of Designs by Cuties that keep jumping around! Maybe we could give it a try, anyway. I know sometimes I search a long time for something I know is there, and can't find it. What do y'all think, would it help? Hugs, Marji

Marji, thanks a great idea - if you know who put the project there - but we always don't remember who posted what - when we are looking for it - but whatever the name of the Design is - if that were in the post as well - then perhaps it would still come up - in the search with the name. Just a thought.

Oh, yes, I was thinking like dkjack's Pet Alpha, she posted a note saying "Pet Alpha "J" is up in Designs by Cuties" or something like that. For some of the later ones, she had a link, but I had a heck of a time finding them all, hee hee hee. Guess I just figured if one said a design was posted, they'd give the description of it as well, so you could search on that. Good idea! Hugs, Marji

Would be wonderfull. I know I do not always download all, but I do tend to have a memory for remembering the Cutie designs, mabe because I make a point to remember. The rest of my memory seem to have gone to the dogs LOL. Mabe also because I know they are always there to download when I need to use some.

Great idea! I went through all the pages of DbC to see what I had posted and what not - unlike 'projects' there's no way to see your own posts - and made a file with all the links. Might as well post a link in the public forum in the future. It might make things a lot easier.

I wonder if the site didn't intend to have a search feature but just never got around to it. When you post of project you list key words for them but we don't have a search feature for those either.

It would be lovely to have in 'designs by cuties' a function the sorts by designers. as we have sort by time, * & replies. *4u all

It would be nice, but Veronika has said due to the nature of the way Designs by Cuties is set up, it would be way way too hard to accomplish. The entire thing would have to be re-programmed, and that's a lot ot ask. So, I thought perhaps this way would give us a chance to use the search we have in the public message section. Hugs, Marji

Boy, but my brain works slowly!! Besides making the post with the link here, TAG the post "designs-by-cuties"! Then we could search that topic, and see all the posts for people putting in designs, too!! The tag has to have the hyphens in it, because each tag can be only one word, so the hyphens make it one word. And put it under the category "cuteembroidery". Hey, I'll get this thought through yet, hee hee hee, just slow! Hugs, Marji

Great idea Marji, well worth trying. I had done that once before, but haven't tried searching for the design since.
I'm almost ready to upload the "Nothing Tastes" design so I will do it with that. I usually put my name in the tag, but i'll add the design name too this time.

Actually, it does work! if you type meganne in the Tag search it will bring up a page of my posts, the bottom one is for the Daisy designs in Designs by Cuties, click on the links and it will take you to the designs.
