Made this one for my sil in Darwin. Done in Cream "duchess satin" with dusty pink embroidery to match the "Infinity Quilt" I'd made her last year. was a nice surprise for her.I also put some wadding in to make it look like "trapunto" worked out well

thank you Shirlene, Not bad for a rush job was it. I had to do it in a hurry as the D-i_L was taking a trip to Darwin and I wanted it to go with her as Tracey was seeing my SIL

Utterley gorgeous. I just love embroidered satin. Can I ask where the design came from? Did you make a sandwich with the wadding and embroider it all together, or did you add it later?

Thank you so much. I placed a layer of fabric first - I used home spun, then I placed the wadding - and lastly I had the satin on the top. All went well in the hoop too.So yes it was a sandwich . No need to use tear-a-way either. The design, came from "Stitch delight: I think.
