He is feeling much better, however, he still has diahrea which they said could last for 2 weeks (what the H__) wouldn't you think that would make him dehydrated again??? I don't understand.
Fever is gone...jaundice is gone...not throwing up... (sounds like the flu, right, well doctors didn't think so..)
They gave him glucose with potassium (as it was also low)...then they gave him 1/3 liter of blood to boost his red blood cells.
The doctors said his red blood cells count was 4 (should have been 13-16 for his age group) they were very concerned of why his cells were breaking down... and his spleen was enlarged.
The doctors have ruled out a lot of diseases that it isn't...but can't put their finger on what it was.
My daughter has to take him on Monday and Thursday for more blood work. (and then they will probably say 'We're not sure what is was')
UGH...just upsetting!!!
Hopefully God will give them the knowledge to discover what the cause was.
He is home...and I'm thankful for that!

How wonderful God is! Glad that Jacob is home and has improved. I'll pray that the physicians have the wisdom to diagnose the problem.
