I was told that a new windows was coming out at the end of this year that would not have vista. Do you know anything about it?

when I bought my new comp I made extra to have XP put on it instead of vista

My computer is Vista and never have problems with the programs not responding, but after I got facebood and started playing their games my computer is a mess.****

Katy, my dear hubby was one of the beta testers for the new windows 7. He loves it, and can't wait for the retail version to come out. He tells me it's great since it doesn't hog the memory like Vista...which is what my laptop runs on. I don't have much trouble (like none)with the Vista since I upgraded to the delux home from the Vista basic. blessings to you!

About 6 weeks ago. I bought a new Dell computer for my daughter from the Dell web site. They were offering new computers with XP as the operating system. YIPEE!! I don't know anyone who is happy with Vista! You might want to take a look on the Dell web site and see if they are still offering it. Either way...Good Luck finding the right computer. I think the new Windows 7 comes out next month. Hopefully it is a huge improvement from Vista!!

I understand that Microsoft is coming out with a new program called windows 7. It is supposed to be coming out in Oct and to be readily available by December. I do hope it will be an improvement over vista. I still am using XP but my hubby uses Vista and has had nothing but problems constantly. So if you can hold out for a couple of more months hopefully it will be worthwhile.
