now..bet they are giggling at me trying to find them. My girlfriend found the one I did for her last year and wanted a bunch of them. All I remember is that it was a freebie and had 2 wings with the eyelet on the top so you could hang it from a string. If I can get it from her I might be able to scan it.
Any clues as to where a similar type wing can be found would be appreciated. It was about 2 inches wide by about 2 inches tall.

Did you check The Country Needle? Is this it? It is a head and wings.

I finally found the zipped folder that I downloaded and one of the files has the color chart. At the bottom it has the name Chavez. Does that help you any?

bearlymakinit has a set of fsl angel wings, not loop and not free.
Sonia Showalter at Stitchery Mall https://www.stitcherymall.com/display.cfm?digi=20506(page 7 of her designs) Angel of Light has one with the head and wings, gorgeous, no loop, but if you just use a little glue you can attach a light string to the back of the head and it works great, looks better than a loop on her head too! lol.

Mine has this for design name. Fl³gel 6er.PES.
there are 4 fsl angel wings. try type search of all you files with this and see if its there. Sure not an easy name for design.

moyed mentioned the file is named "Flügel"- this is the german word for wings.
If this is the one you are looking for, I assume you got it from a german site.
Many lace designs come from bejoscha or liane.
bejoscha has many other pretty free designs. have a look at their freebie list.
and liane has a special christmas site (not available at the moment) she is offering just in winter. maybe you will have to wait. here is the link and click menu on the left
