Hi, I have Pfaff machines and yes the clips came with my hoops. They are used to help hold your materials in the hoop tighter. I use them when I'm working with thinner fabrics or when I only hoop my stabilizer. Hope that answers your question.

Thanks MJ, that seems like a nice feature to have with your hoops ;D *2U

They come with the larger hoops - I have them with my 360 x 150 megahoop - and they prevent the inner ring bending inwards, so the material won't shift. Industrial hoops are sturdier and dn't have that problem, but the long sides of household macjine tend to bend a bit, just enough to give some slippage in the centre.

Monica, a Husqvarna dealer can sell you a set of them. I bought some for my Babylock - sometimes they work - sometimes they don't - they are a bit smaller than my hoop - but I can use them - if the item that I am stitching doesn't have alot of bulk - like my WSS - it helps keep from shifting and I feel better when I use them - than when I don't on the largest hoop. *4U

They come with the hoop--but lookout!!! The first time I tried to get one off, it shot up into the air--should have worn protective eyewear!!! Then I read the instructions and they do have warnings :)

Me, too! Is nothing safe any more? The latest CAT TOY I bought had a hazard warning, had to wear safety glasses to take it out of the box. Eesh. Giggle giggle hugs, M
