My favorite thing to make for a newleywed or new home is a towel kitchen set. I buy a sheet towel, light in weight and simply cut it up into, apron, plastic bag holder, potholders and fingertip towels. I add bias binding in a tiny flower or fruit material and applique pictures from another material. The entire set costs very little and yet is a good sized gift!!

I love this idea, very well thought out. Is there any way I can get some instructions(measurements) for this project? elizabethkeller15@verizon.net

Thanks,
Elizabeth

This is not a project that needs EXACT measurements but I could come up with some instructions, might take a while but I'll try, you might have to remind me though.

Very nice. When you say sheet towel do you mean a large thin bath towel.

Thank you all for the comments!! Yes, the largest towel's sold, some are heavy but not easy to work with so I get a lighter weight towl.
