Hij wordt ook wel zwaardnaald genoemd, zegt dat je iets. Aan de schacht zitten links en rechts verbredingen - vleugeltjes - waardor er grotere gaatjes in de stof komen, ideaal voor de open naaiwerksteekjes op de meeste naaimachines.
