on some emb site I saw an embroidered muffin/ bread roll holder ( the circular kind that you pull up). Now can't find. Any help appreciated. mummabear

You hardly need a pattern for those. Cut three 13" circles, sew a nice trim along the outline (or do line them if preferred then you'll need 3 extra circles. Draw three lines, crossing in the centre and equal distances apart (so there are 60 degrees angles) on the top one and place your embroidery in these sections (in case of lining before you stitch the lining). Then sew this one on top of circle 2 along the lines. Draw lines in circle 3, pin this under the two others, in such a way that the dividing lines correspond with the middle of the top sections. Now comes the fiddly bit: stitch from the outside to the middle along the line for some 2 or 3". I finish mine with snaps, but I was given one that has 6 loops along the outside (in the middle of each section, not on the stitched lines) and a drawstring. That one is actually a bit smaller, just 10" and is made from quilted material.
