My first ever burp cloths AND first ever applique. Designs were freebies. No shocking pink thread to match border here in Botswana! Any suggestions, i.e. to "neaten" stitching on border, or correct placement of design from border, will be appreciated. Thanks for looking! Suzette

I made them from thick toweling fabric, with flannel at the back.

Very cute. (Also a personal comment .. I have been listening to a CD of the "Number One Woman's Detective Agency" and the detective lives in Botswana. Is that you?)

No, then I would have been famous...but maybe I must introduce Mma Ramotswe to machine embroidery, then she can also join "Cute" and solve mysteries around the world!!

They are very cute. How about using a colour from the design to finish it off. I think the designs are placed well. I usually put the designs whereever I feel they look good. Goed so. *4u

LOVE THEM LOVE THEM LOVE THEM!

I can't wait to sew some of these - you call them Burp cloths I note. I don't know what they are called over here in Australia. I personally love the bright green and pink they stand out.

Great job.... Love and blessings Chris

Well done, they look great, love the colours, you could match it with a colour from your design, if you wanted to add something. Have you ironed the border yet. *4u
