I have not been able to stitch out much lately, but this little shirt showed me that I need to get back into my sewing room. Not only did I put the planned design on the wrong side, I managerd to put not one, but two holes in the fabric. So - what to do to save it? A little help from a special friend, and the paws design was to be added. I then wanted to add a design to the front - even put it on the wrong side of the front from what I intended to do. But, I think it is cute, and hope the little girl in made it for will like it. This sure taught me to check and double check myself. LOL

What an adorable shirt - had you not said that you had made a mistake - I would have thought this was the way you planned it - great safe and lovely work - what little girl wouldn't love this set. *4U

Looks cute. You saved it so well - no one but you would know it wasn't meant to be that way if you didn't tell :)

just thinking... funny how sometimes our projects that turn out best are 'saves' - they make us think outside the square to come up with something different :)

I thought the rule of thunb was if it is a girl it goes on the right side and if it is a guy it goes on the left side. Somebody please answer this for me NOW! I have got a guy's shirt to do a motorcycle on Yesterday! I should have already had it done! I do not want this guy to put it up and not wear it! It is going to have a Harley on the front and a decal on the sleeve. (right sleeve) Please tell me if I am putting them on the right sides.

Both shirts look great. The paw prints add to it. You did a great job of covering a mistake. *4U Lynn
