sent me a 160mb, so I am not so mad anymore, now I will be busy saving designs there!!!!I already have all my designs on disk, but it is so hard to look for a design when you have more than 400 disks, I have most of them in a file-organizer, but want to saving on another external hard driver too....Don't you think it is a good idea???thanks

Nice for him to make up for the delay. It will be so much easier to get to your designs from a harddrive verses the CD. Multiple back ups are a good idea.

I have bought myself a external hard drive but have not had the time to start filling it up with my designs. This will probably happen in the Christmas holidays. Meganne is always telling us to back up in more than one way so your purchase is a great idea. Now to have fun loading it up.

If you have all your designs in your computer is not so bad...I have most of them in the computer already, but need to finish organizing and that is going to take a long long time.****

Lucky You, getting twice the storage you paid for!! My son gave me an external hard drive for Mothers Day. I had been backing up on DVDs. I just got around to loading all my designs and Photos to the HD this past weekend. It took me that long to get them organized so they'd be easy to find on the hard drive. So now I have a double back up. But this is going to have to be done pretty frequently cause I probably have about 40 new designs since I loaded the thing and several photos too. Luckily it's a 320gb drive.

I hope that is a typo that he sent you a 160MB but rather you got a 160GB. As long as it is a typo, I am very excited and happy for you. You are going to have a lot of fun filling that baby up, I'm sure, and the "funny" thing is that you probably won't have too much trouble finding enough designs to do so! Looks like I am going to have to get another one fairly soon. Of course, mine isn't as large as yours (only 40GB) so maybe I should aim for larger. =]

Well I am glad you are now happy. I got an external hard drive. Have backed up photos and designs and documents on it. I do unplug it and take the usb thinngy out also from the computer. I heard that someone lost everything on there external as it got infected with the computer. Mine is 1TB, which is 1 terabyte, hope spelling is correct. I think that is 1,000 MB

Glad to hear you finally received it and also got more mb than you ordered. I use my external hard drive all the time. Have fun saving all your designs. Hugs Mary
