Basically I think that is what he said - I wasn't listening to them too much as I was down the other end of the billiard table talking with Pauline. She really enjoyed the debate about it all. As she said above it was great to have her brain being picked!

Thanks Gerry - yes it was a wonderful day. Sorry about the name on picture 3 - of course it was Meg, I did this in a hurry as I had the grandchildren here after the ladies and Tubby left and it is always a challenge doing this sort of thing with the ankle biters around.

I loved seeing your beautiful alphabets stitched out in person, looking forward to seeing what you can do with Embird when you get round to buying it.

You and Tubby will always be welcome. Next year I should be back living on the Central Coast so it will be a half-way house between Sydney and Newcastle and reduce travel time from both areas and give us more time for chatting.

Hello Lillian, don't be jealous. It's quite easy really! Just ask if there is anyone near you and get on the PM's and organise it! It has been a long time with us with Meg and her treatment etc. Pauline and her life and of course me and the hassles with Mum and Dad and babysitting and working. BUT WE MADE IT FINALLY!!!!!

Hi Laura - well they had to travel from the Blue Mountains area called Penrith and come up the East Coast of Australia for 2 and a half hours. They stayed from 11.15 till 2.35 and then had to drive back another nearly 3 hours because of afternoon traffic. What a pair of troupers!!!!! Have a look on Google earth and type in Penrith and see how far it is on the map!!!!!!!!
Tubby only lives about 40-45 minutes away from me here in Newcastle.
Meg bought her laptop and Tubby and she were in their element!!
Yes it is a gift that Veronika has given us - we all have an opportunity to keep in touch.

Ooooh, I wish I could have been a fly on the wall (would have a rather big one. LOL). It is so marvelous to meet other cuties that you have just been "writing" to. I enjoyed the visit with Marthie tremendously, we could talk about just about everything.
