I want to embroider a Name with the alphabet hiragana from manami. How does I must stich? From right to left or left to rhigt? It is so very nice and my daughter love it so.

usually left to right but it all depends on how you put it in your machine. Whether or not you can put them all together in your software or need to stitch them out one at a time. If you want to go right to left just be sure and start with the last letter of her name. Have fun and welcome to cute!

Yoriko, where are you? Hee hee hee, I thought the Japanese language was written top to bottom. If it's written horizontally, I think you're right, Bikermom, it's left to right. Yorikoooooo, helppp!! Hugs, Marji

Good question.
Kelly written in katakana (1) and (2) horizontally from left to right (3) and (4) vertically from top to bottom. Notice how the enchou fugou changes orientation depending on whether one is writing horizontally or vertically. (from second link below)

You could write a PM to Yoriko(Manami) to be sure about how to write the Japanese signs in the right way. She will know, that is for sure. Good luck
