I think it depends if you have assigned the copyright of your tip to the other site. I know sometimes these places take 'ownership'. What do their terms and conditions say? What to other cuties think?

As long as you didn't give the other site sole rights to your tip, then there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to share it elsewhere.
If you are unsure you could always share the link to your tip on the other site.

Ok, I may be ignorant, but unless you 'sell' your tip to a site or company, either for money or goods, I think it would still be yours. Do sites actually refuse to let you give a good tip on sewing to other people, just because they put it on their site? I suppose they could, but what would be the point of that? I could see if you sold a tip to SuzieQ so she could publish a book called "SuzieQ's Embroidery Tips" and claim it as her own. Well, educate me, Cuties, this sounds like it's a lot more complicated than it should be. Hugs, Marji

That would be just too much when other people would direct your talk. Oh my, this would be the first step to limit thinking!
You can talk about whatever you like - except of course if you have a contract with another party and part of the contract is exclusivity, tacitily or discretion. So, if you didn't sold a patent, tell about whatever you want whereever you like.
uoops, but if it is an instruction for "illegal" doing (how to damage ex-husbands Porsche without getting catched for example) better keep it private.... but you may talk. ;-))
Greetings
Eva
