Click on the name of the person you want to send a private message to. You will than see all their post with on the left of that under the picture of the person private message. Click on that and you can than write your message and send this.
the person can see there is a private message as there will be a plus above the word private when you go into the community.

Hi, DesignCrazy, the girls helped you out, I see. I brought a tutorial I wrote about sending Private Messages back to the top for you and maybe other newbies. It has pictures in it. I've added the link below. Just remember, if you don't know how to do something, click on the blue word "tutorial" to the left of your screen.
