Here instructions from embroidery library. Have you seen the diapers that now come in packs of boys colors and girls colors? I just saw them at Joanne's.

I didn't use diapers, I just used 3 ply of flannel, sewn together and embroidered. I cut material about 12" X 6". Maybe this will help too.

Hi Mnlady, I made sets of burp cloths and bibs using unbleached muslin material, in the picture they are pretty flat and plane but after washing they get a lunpy touch and are cuter. Simple rectangles work for the burp cloths and for the bibs, after embroidering, cut out the bib shape and finish. You can add a trim to the edge of the bibs for a cuter look.

U have gotten good answers. I usually use the prefolded Gerber diapers to do mine. The only difference I go up the back with a rectangle that matches the collar I put on because I want to cover the back of the embroidery design. I like the back to look as well as the front . *

Mary Ann, I use guest towels, it fits well on the shoulder, no cutting or sewing, and they are cheaper than diapers. - Hugs yvonne

Hi--this link isn't for making them, but for sayings you can add to them. Someone posted this a few months back. The baby sayings for bibs/burp cloths are at the bottom of page 1 and top of page 2. I just thought it was a fun thing to read--and not just for babies.
