Thought you'd like to see a close up of Manami-Chan. I machine stitched the pattern, using gold metallic thread, on the green material that the sleeves are made from and I put dried lavender inside her body. The face is hand embroidered and that is definitely not my forte, but I tried. LOL!!
Pauline and I really enjoyed making these dolls for Yoriko (Thanks Pauline) and I'd love to make some more but I'll probably digitise a face for next ones.

Meganne, I thought the sleeves are so beautiful, very Japanese theme, and I would never realize that it was embroidered! The first thing I noticed was the wonderful lavender fragrance when I opened the pack. I just love them! As I write this, they are smiling to me :) Thank you so much!!! Meganne Manami-Chan is delightful. Ah I have just noticed that she is holding a fsl cherry blossom. The blossom in her hair is just like the geishas I saw in Kyoto. Will this be a new sewing career for you?

This is lovely, I like the embroidered sleeves and the embellishment in the hair. The machine in the picture gives an indication of the size. Job well done!

Sorry Martine but the difference in size can't be determined by the picture due to the angle I took the photo, as much as I tried, the perspective is all wrong. LOL!!!
