I have some knit but I don't know if it's double knit, as the pattern suggested. What's the difference between knit and double knit? TIA ;D

If you are talking about textile then if both sides look the same it is a double knit. If you are talking about yarn a DK means usually 5 1/2 sts to an inch if knitted up (often with size US 6 needle). I don't know what "some knit" means. :)
