... let you know that I am moving to Texas! My hubby relocated a month ago after receiving an awesome offer from a medical company outside of Fort Worth.
Our LORD came through big time with my job... I can't believe it! I was so heartbroken when he left (ask Shirlene!) that I didn't see HOW I would ever be able to join him. Long story short, I accepted a position with my company working out of our corporate offices in Irving, TX and will be moving in 9-10 days.
Not only am I able to stay with my company, but I got a promotion AND a raise! The increased salary shocked me, since I'm coming from San Diego's cost of living. I was told that I would probably make the same there, even though I'd have a higher position... I can't believe that all this is really happening! The LORD does work wonders, that's for sure!
Now we're continually praying that our house will sell here in San Diego.
Anyway, I've received numerous emails from everyone on CUTE lately and wanted to stop by and say hello... :-)

Teri - we are all so glad for you. And I think that you will love that area. I have a brother and sister that live in the Dallas, Ft Worth area, and we almost moved there 3 or 4 years ago. You truly have been blessed to get the promotion and everything fall into place like that. Living apart from the one you love is hard, I did it for many many years - my hubby just traveled all of the time, but some years we did live in different cities, and even different parts of the world, but it did make us stronger. Love to hear from you, and am wishing you a speedy sale of the house. Special Hugs.

Teri, It is great to hear from you and it be really great news at that! You seem excited and that is good news also! Moves can be hard on you when they are unexpected. New job with the same company, reunited with your hubby, more money, a decent size area with alot of sites to see and things to do, and not all the way across the country away from friends and family, you should be happy. So glad you let us hear from you. Keep us posted. I miss you. Hope everything works out with the move. Moves are so stressful. if I ever move again, I would like to be put asleep and wake me up when it's all over. The best move I ever had was when I had an appraiser and the moving company estimator at my house at the same time. I didn't have a single scratch or broken anything. I paid the appraiser about $250. and it was the best deal ever. Love, Kay
