I did this design for a shirt for my older daughter. Eight years ago she had battled penumonia off and on for several months. In December she became quite ill with the flu that resulted in again another case of pneumonia. The doctor she saw took x-rays, and they discovered a tumor in her lung that was attached to her bronchi by a stem. She was told that she had 9 months to live is she did not have her lung removed. She was very young, and had two young boys to rear. Long story short - February 15th she was released by her surgeon and given the cancer free. I did this especially for her - February 15th, 2010 she will be 8 years cancer free. Thank you God, for allowing us to have her with us still. The cancer ribbon is done in crystals, which is the lung cancer ribbon colors. She chose the shirt, for she works out at the gym 6 days a week, and wanted this to wear one of those day.

Beth, I am glad to see that you are a proud mother of a survivor and thank you for the info behind the shirt, too. This is wonderful work and I know that she will love wearing it and will be so very proud - one that she is a survivor and two for your great work that will be seen by others, too. *4U

What a tragic story to have ended so wonderfully! The Lord can work miracles. You must believe in Him and pray and live your life for Him! Eight years later after being given a death sentence, she is alive and well and raising her boys! I think this is a time that we can all bow our heads and thank God for his miracles! My He continue to be with your daughter and her family. Your shirt is certainly a token of your love for her. The happiness in your heart we can not see but I am sure that the Lord and your daughter can! Thanks for sharing this story with us. It is truely one of God's miracles!
