Has anyone upgraded Embird to Embird 2010? I'm glad I got the 'old' 2008 to work in Vista and have not yet tried DL-ing the new one.

I've done the download but haven't installed it yet. It is supposed to work with XP Vista and Windows 7. Knowing the Balara's I can't imagine having any problems with it as they are dedicated to providing a bug free program.
If I'm feeling better tomorrow, I'll probably install it then, after I have backed up the necessary user files.
There are a lot of great new features that I'm looking forward to using.

Thanks, I've done it and it works a treat, except for one slight glitch in Studio - see my answer to Lilian - which ca be easily remedied in Preferences when you unclick 'parameters'.
I still couldnt downloaded it, it stops in the middle of the download. I'll keep trying.

Not yet Martine but I'm thinking on it. I have currently got the 2008 build 4. I'm always hesitant.Scared I'll click the wrong key. I've up graded the last 3 times they've had one. And usually a month or so after they come back at me with something else that needs to be done because they find a glitch after a mo. or so with the latest upgrade. I'm tempted to wait Till I'm with daughter in Ky. again because she always helps me out with it. I just do not trust myself. *

There is a glitch in Studio. When using the outline tool you don't get the choice in the right top corner: straight line or curve, satin stitch, etc. It will be rectified shortly, so you'd indeed better wait.

I don't try yet.... for the moment, I use embird 2008 with Vista and windows 8... I think I will try soon :o)
