my step counter so not sure how many "miles" we walked. Had a great time! My camera jammed the second day. Here is the only picture I have with my son and his family. Sorry about the hair do (hahaha), Florida does not like my hair. Finally went all natural. My son will email me more pictures later.

Meet Chadd's family: Darci on the left, me on the right with Chadd, Bladen and Mallorie. My grandson Colton was taking the picture.

What a wonderful family. Florida doesn't like my hair either....goes flat to my head. I know you loved Disney, despite the aches and pains and didn't those children have a blast!?!? I'm happy you got to go.;)

We did have fun. So much more fun seeing through the eyes of the grandchildren. I'm just glad I made it. Was worried about my back but went prepared and all worked out except the ankles the last day.

DK being at disney is like participating in the Olympics. Hope u all got lots of fast passes. Last time I went DH's mobility scooter gave out so I had to rent him one for $40.00 a day. There were times I wanted to say move over but only rm for one. LOL. Still & all really enjoyed it. *

Since I walk my dog, the walking didn't bother me. Didn't need to get any fast passes. Lines were really not that bad. Yes, the last day my son was concerned when my ankles started swelling, but I made it. We rented a stroller for the little ones. Afraid we have lost them if I climbed in and they got out. hahaha

I am so glad you had a great time. Disneyland can be very exhausting. Hopefully you didn't have to wait in lines for too long. Thanks for the picture of your lovely family.

I really didn't feel that tired until we were on the shuttle heading back to the hotel, then it hit me. hahaha. Lines weren't bad at all until we went to Animal World. More people there and we did wait some but not as long as I had thought we would.

I'm sure it was worth it. I know I had to go "natural hair" in Hawaii and it was definitely worth it.

Well at least my hair has become naturally curly (except on top - hahaha) so it wasn't so bad. :) I'll go anywhere to see my grandkids. :)

Wow glad you had a jol. We have done this in 2003 and we loved it. Will go back one day, while we can still walk.

I hope I can still walk the next time they go. :) May have been a lot of walking and a few swollen ankles but it was so much fun seeing it through the grandkids eyes and of course my son because he has never grown up. hahaha

Oh my Deb, all that walking would just kill me - my ankles would have been 5x on the first hour. Hehehe. So sorry you got your camera jammed, but I bet your son got some good pictures. *4U

Funny, I just hung up from talking with Chadd. They just got home! They missed their flight. (Not the first time.) :) They missed their flight when we met in Colorado to go skiing. Only this time there was not another flight until Monday. I came home on Friday. So they went back to the hotel and luckily got a room. Kids got to play at the playground and swim in the Mickey pool for two days and Darci got to go shopping again :) I had taken a cab to the airport because I left from the International. Not sure where the airport was they landed at. We would have had to leave tooooooooooo early if they were to drop me by my airport. They seem to be able to make afternoon flights but always miss their flight if its in the morning. Their flight left at 11:00. They were all packed when we left to eat breakfast. Guess the kids took too long. lol

How wonderful! Disney is my favorite place but my DH doesn't like it much. Last trip he spent a lot of time on the laptop and I Pod.
Your photo is great! We take it easy and never look 'put together' at Disney; we just have fun.
One year my DH & I accomanied another couple (business trip) for a long weekend to the park. We dined at all of the nicest places and saw all of the things intended for the grown ups; mostly I missed not having my kids with me though.
Thanks for sharing.

Oh, it was so much fun seeing it through the eyes of the small grandchildren. Even if I did get THRENCHED, SOAKED, etc, at SeaWorld. We sat in the 3rd Center row. My daughter in law said we "might" get a "tad" bit wet. I KNEW BETTER! hahaha Loved it! My son did want to golf one day but didn't get to.

So tell us--is "it's a small world after all", still running through your head? It takes about a month to get over that one :)
