I use Digitizer 10,000 quite a bit to put wording together and don't normally have that problem. Could it be your PC needing a cleanout, defrag etc and not the actual program maybe?

I have digitizer Pro/MB and Customizer.
Digitizer JR has taken the place of Customizer. I don't know for sure, but I would think you have limited capabilities with Digitizer JR.
You may not be able to stitch the word in one go.
I am not sure what you mean by stop responding.

I am moving my colour thread order. putting the same colour for each letter together so I can applique one word instead of one letter. Sometimes I have no problem and sometimes the screen go greyish and at the top of the screen it say's not responding.

My first guess would be memory usage (RAM, not ROM). Check to see what your auto-save is set at, if it's set to save every few minutes, you're taking up a lot of memory doing that. Try turning it off, or down to 20 minutes. But then you must remember to "save" yourself! I use Digitizer Pro, and find that when I make many changes or operations, the program runs faster if I save what I'm doing when I'm satisfied it's right. I'm not sure about JR, but Pro has an almost unlimited "undo" feature, so if you can 'undo' 30 times, all those changes are saved in the RAM somewhere so you can go back to them, taking up memory. Once you "save" them, they're out of the memory, freeing up space. I hope I'm making this clear, sometimes I can see it, but not say it, hee hee hee. Try these changes, I think it will help. If not, let us know, we'll try again. Also, are you running
XP or Vista? JR should be set up to run on Vista, I think, it's the newest program from Janome. Good luck!! Hugs, Marji

My computer is Vista. will look into the memory and saving. I thought it only saved when I told it to.
