Has anyone ever machine embroidered on Minky Fabric? Just looking for a heads up if it is going to have some sneaky behavioral issues. Thanks, San

Just treat it as you would fleece or velvet - don't hoop the material, hoop he stabiliser instead and pin (hand or machine) baste the fabric to the hoop stabiliser, use water soluble plastic type stabiliser on top and have fun.

I have embroidered alot on minky. In BC Canada, we have a product called Aqua Magic, it comes in sticky stablizer as well as reqular and is water soluable. I use it both on top and bottom, hoop the design and when complete wash the project. I have had no problems at all.

The only "sneaky" thing about Minky that I know of is that it stretches a LOT. So, if you are prepared to deal with that, you should be fine. Good luck with your project!
