I have a question , should towels be washed before doing the embroidery on them?

If they are good quality I don't if they are thin cotton one's I do and condition well

Yes; just my opinion b/c my MIL decorated towels in many ways and I often had problems with them afterwards.

Thank you, I would'nt want them to shrink after all the work.

I do because I find that they shrink in the dryer.
