36" square Pink Linen tablecloth. Designs from Embroidery Necessity and took nearly 5000 mtrs thread. Use embroidery thread in the bobbin as well as on top for embroidery as welo as lace. Sewed lace together by hand. Love this one too

Oh, Roslyn, this is exquisite!! I am astounded by your patience, and your placement, hee hee hee. You must get the prize for "best hooper" if there is one, your placements are always spot on, and quite ambitious. And the lace, well, that's just amazing! This is fit for royalty. Hugs, Marji

Thank you Hilde. Hope you do. It comes together really well. The tedious part is just the hand stitching of the lace.

Always wanted to go there. Boo hoo. I bit far. I live in Brisbane Australia. IF I win Lotto (fat chance of that with our luck) I would take one of my daughters.

All of your work is so beautiful and elegant! I would never even try anything like this! There is one thing that I am very short on and that is patience. My problem is that I can not be still long enough to do anything this time consuming. I have not always been like that but after my horrible surgery and my stay in the nursing home for 8 months at 57, I get so antsy and nervous if I am in one place very long. I hurt too bad if I stay in the same position for a long time. When my back gives out on me, I go all to pieces until I can get rid of the pain. I have 3 disc in my back right together at the very end of my spine and when it hurts and the nerves and muscles in my back go crazy, so do I! When it gets bad enough, I can not use my right leg at all.
I look at your sheer perfection and it takes me back in time whan I would attempt to try anything I saw and loved. No more! I really think it is a good thing that I live alone because I would make alot of enemies if I had to function when my back goes out. I get pure and simply crazy when the pain effects my whole body. You will never find me without a bottle of muscle relaxers on me! Before I moved to the Atlanta area, I had a Dr. that would give me a trigger point shot in my back and I did not have to live with it very long at the time. Every Dr. up here wants to operate. NOT!!!! It could make matters worse and I could not live with that! My legs and feet are numb to the point that I could not get up and walk right now without help. I have the furniture arranged so I can always reach out and hold onto something. I have a cart but it is too big for my house. It was a waste of money because I have no ramp and it is too heavy for me to get it down the steps and into the car alone. My dream ,when I got my machines was to be able to do the kind of pieces that you do but no more. I would be bald from pulling out my hair! The only thing(s) in my life that I have any patience with are my 2 Pekingese. They spend their time trying to be the best little girls in the world and they are always there for me. They are my therapy! If only people would or could be as patient as those little angels and they always know just what to do to calm me down or make me smile. They are the best therapy known to man!
Your work is always just perfect and gorgeous! It is candy to the eyes and shows what elegant taste you have! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pieces with all of us.

Thank you so much for your comments. Terribly sorry that you are unable to sit for long and sew. Sewing calms me and I get such pleasure out of it.I don't sit at the machine all the time. I'm up and down quite a bit as I have another sewing machine near the embroidery one. (I don't embroider on this one. Too busy sewing ) I do patchwork as well as sew for the Grandaughter when I can. But I also combine the embroidery with the patchwork. It's very addictive.. Both sorts of sewing. Do hope you get better and can sew again. THAT is my therapy
