Hi all Cuties, Just letting you know my daughter is in labour... she is having a boy... Samuel Clifford Denton. It is 1.40pm on 16th of November, 2009 now. She is having contractions every 25 mins, it's her first child & my first grandchild. I will be off the air soon, as I am going to be with her & the dad when she has him. When all has happened, I will let you all know the results. Please pray for her as she has high blood pressure & we are hoping both go well in delivery,

Hey all.... Here is the update. She had contractions all day & evening... down to 3 mins apart, now at 12.40am the 17th of November the contractions have slowed right down. They are keeping her at hospital for the night, I got kicked out as she was only allowed to had 1 person stay over night & of course the Father doesn't have a car license so I had to drive home.... it's a 40min drive (IF your lucky). The nurse said if she doesn't go into labour by 7.30am today (17.11.09) she will probably be induced. I was all 3 times with my girls, so maybe she's going to follow in my footsteps.... LOL she has so far except she's having a boy. Same age, same time of the year (just 5 weeks out, she was born the 27th Dec.) had the god awful flu that was about at the same time. The only other thing she's different with is, she has blood pressure probs. Oh yeah, THIS IS a busy time of year for all concerned. My middles girl was born on 24th Nov. & the Dad-to-be is Christmas Day for his birthday.
Well after that 13 hr stint, I'm going to have a rest until the next level goes into play, talk soon & thankyou all for your support & prayers.

Prayers and lots of love sent your way! I was in hard labor for 30 hours. Motherhood is not for wimps! I have a notepad with that printed on it. Everytime I use it I think of those long hard 30 hrs 43 years ago. My son will be 43 on 12/16. I can thank the Lord for that! He had a major Heart Attack on 5/9 of this year and we came very close to losing him. I still shudder when I think about it. He has made a drastic life change as far as his eating habits and is doing well! It is going to take a long time for him to get back to being himself. I think it did more mentally to him than anything else!
My prayers go out to Mom and Samuel and I am sure that the joy will out weigh the pain and the waiting for the birth. Love and happiness to all of you and may his life be blessed! Linda

Tell her to be couragious. All our thought are with her and the baby. It's so wonderful when they are finally in our arms, expecially the first one. It's good that you are all around her to help...mentally.

It's 9.35am Newcastle time 17th November - I pray that by now your daughter has had her little boy. I know how you feel our grandson was born on the 5th November and it's wonderful to finally know all is right. I pray your daughter is alright too.
