We're still waiting for the 100% approval on the house we're buying... it's being built and even though we're pre approved, I'll feel a whole lot better when I hear them say "it's yours". We went down to the show room and picked out all the colors today. This house is going to be amazing! Even the windows are really low so my sweet Rosie will be able to check out the neighborhood.

I'm enjoying my week off and then I start work at my new location (same company) in Irving, TX on 11/23. I hauled all my sewing machines here (household items will be delivered when we get the house), but I don't know how much sewing I'll be able to do. Might stitch out some pretty lace designs I've been waiting on this week and will post in projects.

Have a blessed week y'all!

It is great to hear from you. I am glad you made it there safe and sound with no problems. I know it will wonderful to actually get in your new home and be able to decorate it exactly like you want it. I can assure life will be different in Texas. It may take some getting use to. I know this rates right at the top of your new adventures! You are very outgoing and friendly so I am sure you will make friends quickly. Be sure and send us some pictures of your new home as you get it decorated and make sure you keep in touch with us. May the both of you be very happy in your new home and jobs! Linda

Hi Teri,

Glad to see you've finally arrived in Texas. I bet you can't wait to move into your new home? Best wishes for your new job next week too. Sounds like your lives are about to change. I have no idea what Texas is like other than what we've seen in movies - so I expect it to be a big wide friendly kind of state. I notice Bev is from Texas (bevintex). Maybe you could contact each other - I know Texas is a huge state, and don't know where she is situated, but note you are in Irving.

Anyway just wanted to wish you the best and I hope you settle in real soon.

Love and blessings Chris

It's 7.40am Thursday 19th November, I've just been "Googling" Irving, gee you are close to the DFW airport and to Dallas. Great location! I hope work and home are not too far a distance apart for travelling.

Love and blessings Chris

Teri, so it is Irving, TX that you will be working in - what city is the house being built in? I can only imagine you and Jim with Rosie in a rented room for another month - I will be praying for you - that the house is finished off quickly. Not sure how you will ever pull it off to do any embroidery work - but if you do - that will be wonderful to see what your lace project is. *4U
